One of the greatest features of the Rainbow Workshop and Learning Center is the loyalty, support and encouragement that we offer to one another. Teachers, families, and friends work co-operatively and in a peaceful manner for the continued growth of all who are a member of the Rainbow Family. This includes being proud of the school that you have chosen to be a part of your child's introduction to a more formal education.

There are several ways throughout the school year to be involved at a level that you are comfortable with.

• Helping when asked in your child's class

• Taking projects home to cut out or put together

• Contributing ideas to the monthly newsletter

• Taking the job of newsletter editor-Typing and preparing each month's newsletter with the information given by Mrs. Lawton.

This job also includes photocopying and making all necessary copies.

• Bringing in items from the monthly wish list

• Sharing talents, family customs, ideas, and projects

• Helping clean up the outdoor play area on a monthly basis or as needed

Through the generosity of many past and present Rainbow Families and/or community members, many donations are made throughout the school year, both supplies and monetary. These gifts always add to the opportunities that all the children benefit from.

We do have fundraisers throughout the year to supplement the Parent and Child Fund. 100% of all monies collected through any fundraising effort or donation is utilized in a manner that benefits all the children regardless of participation or not.
